Counterspark, an organization that is making the clean energy transition a reality, is looking for a Digital Advertising Manager. We seek to connect both with clean energy companies and an individual consumer audience through actionable, digestible, and immediate steps they can take to have a significant impact on the climate and our economy.
Counterspark is affiliated with Advanced Energy United, a national association of businesses that are making the energy we use secure, clean, and affordable. We work to accelerate the move to 100% clean energy and electrified transportation in the U.S. Advanced Energy United is the only industry association in the U.S. that represents the full range of energy technologies and services needed to achieve a carbon free economy, both grid-scale and distributed. Advanced energy includes energy efficiency, demand response, energy storage, wind, solar, electric vehicles, and more.
Position Description
Counterspark is seeking an experienced digital ads strategist to run our digital ad acquisition and fundraising program. The Manager will be responsible for all our online ads – from acquisition to direct donations and from Facebook to Google ads to display and sponsored sends. The ideal candidate will have experience with Google ads, Facebook ads, display ads, sponsored sends, have knowledge of industry standards, and have a passion for the Counterspark mission. The Digital Advertising Manager will work closely and collaboratively with the policy team at Advanced Energy United and the Counterspark digital team to create effective, accurate ads.
Counterspark has invested in digital, and we know effective digital ads are critical to our mission. This role will be a key player in ensuring Counterspark achieves its goal of providing a platform for individuals to call on decision-makers, at every level of government, to say yes to the energy transition and the benefits it brings: lower energy, bills, a stronger economy, and cleaner air.
