THE ROLE

We are looking for someone with extensive commercial experience to take up the role of Head of Sales and lead the B2B Commercial arm of the UK business. Your responsibilities include delivering revenue growth targets through maintaining and expanding existing relationships, and converting and growing new relationships. As a Head of Sales, you should use your creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes to provide innovative ideas for business growth. Communication and team management skills are also essential for this position. Ultimately, you should aspire to develop and maintain successful relationships with large, distributed customers. Detailed responsibilities include:

  • Develop a deep understanding of Zoomo's operations, hardware and software offering and our customers' needs across multiple verticals
  • Own the commercial strategy for Zoomo UK, and own all decisions around pricing, sales value proposition and new product launches within guidelines defined by global teams
  • Manage and coach a high-performance sales team to achieve quarterly sales targets through a combination of inbound and outbound sales
  • Manage and coach a high-performance Customer Success Management team to maintain and invest in our largest customer relationships, while growing our smaller customer relationships through high-quality onboarding and operational support
  • Engage directly with high-profile customers and opportunities, including site visits, ensuring high-value relationships are maintained, converted and structured well
  • Influence global product and pricing teams to adapt our customer value proposition as needed to achieve business goals
  • Influence global marketing teams to provide the right sales enablement materials and optimise our owned channels for high-quality inbounds
  • Contribute to the Global Commercial team culture with collaboration, a learning mindset, and creative ideas

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of sales success manager experience across a mix of small and large enterprises (experience in Enterprise account management is also a plus)
  • Experience managing large (5+) teams, hiring, coaching and performance management
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including strong presentation skillset
  • Outstanding relationship building skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Rapid problem solving skillset in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to quickly generate credibility with our customers to become a trusted advisor to them
  • Ability to proactively identify issues/opportunities and develop solutions
  • Fast learner and an ability to quickly understand customer needs in new market verticals
  • Self awareness, entrepreneurial spirit, and an ownership mindset
  • Desirable: data analysis skill set and an ability to generate data driven insights
  • Desirable: experience in any of the following sectors - Rapid grocery delivery, Hot food delivery (e.g. Uber Eats, Deliveroo), Last mile delivery, Urban mobility, Cycling or eBikes
