If so, we invite you to apply to GreenBiz Group’s Enterprise Sales Representative position. We’re looking for someone to support the sales team as we expand into new markets, launch new products and cultivate a rapidly growing list of corporate partners and sponsors.

Overall compensation (base salary + discretionary bonus or commission if sales) for this role will be provided commensurate with years of experience and qualifications within the following range: $70,000 - 90,000 plus health and wellness benefits.

This is a fully remote position available anywhere in the US with the option of coming into our Oakland, CA office as well as team events approximately 4 times a year.

Responsibilities

  • Generating/managing a product-based pipeline of educational opportunities for corporate practitioners in the GreenBiz ecosystem
  • Achieving sales quota focused on (but not limited to) peer networks, group ticket packages, and other custom education-based opportunities
  • Establishing and maintaining key senior-level relationships with existing customers and prospects
  • Working closely and in collaboration with peer network leads and Account Executives to develop a pipeline of prospects and targets to achieve sales goals
  • Leading strategy for and development of prospecting campaigns in close coordination with peer network leads to create a holistic product offering across each peer network
  • Qualifying and engaging customers and prospects by identifying objectives and conveying a clear value proposition through compelling phone-based and in-person sales meetings
  • Prioritizing, creating, and managing a high volume of clear, concise sales proposals by strategically packaging, pricing, and addressing customer objectives  
  • Demonstrating knowledge and passion for sustainability-related topics including the circular economy, carbon markets, renewable energy, decarbonized supply chains, electrified fleets, and more
  • Collaborating internally and externally while balancing revenue targets with customer service needs
  • Working collaboratively with the Director of Sales and creative team to create and maintain up-to-date and relevant sales material
  • Additional responsibilities include:
  • Developing compelling email and phone-based prospecting campaigns that are timely and relevant
  • Attending local and national networking events for prospecting and relationship building
  • Maintaining and managing all activities in Salesforce and leveraging other sales/marketing tools including Linkedin and Marketo
  • Comfort with public speaking, presentations, and/or event session moderation is a bonus

Requirements

  • BA or equivalent preferred
  • 0-2 years experience in sales, business development, customer success, consulting, or other customer-oriented function  
  • Ability to work independently, deliver results and address customer objectives 
  • Existing knowledge and contacts in corporate sustainability, green finance, consulting, cleantech, and/or related industries a bonus 
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Maintain an eye for detail, a high level of organizational skills, and the ability to multitask
