Who are we looking for?

Powerhouse is hiring a full-time, paid intern this summer to support Powerhouse’s startup scouting, database management, and corporate partnerships. The internship is expected to be roughly 40 hours per week for 8-12 weeks between May and August 2023.

What you will be working on:

• Market research and startup scouting, including sub-sector analysis and research for Powerhouse partners 

• Contribute to reports summarizing technology landscape, market trends, analysis, and recommendations for Powerhouse partners

• Support on corporate partnerships, including partner coordination, technology scouting, and program design

• Management and organization of Powerhouse’s internal startup database

• Additional special projects may be developed prior to the internship starting

About You:

• Currently enrolled in an industry-relevant Masters or PhD program, or 1-3 years of prior industry-relevant job experience  

• Intellectual curiosity with strong analytical and critical thinking skills

• Knowledge of and interest in clean energy, transportation, and climate 

• Excellent time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects at once

• Meticulous organization of documents, deliverables, and metrics
