SUMMARY

As the Corporate Development and Integration Manager, you will play a key role in creating new development resources in support of strategic initiatives to drive Nexamp’s expansion into new markets (product and geography). You'll work cross-functionally with Market Intelligence, Capital Markets, Channel Development, Business Development, Asset Management, and DPI teams, and will bring strategic objectives to life by building out financial models and calculators to support product offerings and provide expertise around risk assessment/value creation to provide recommendations for current and future technology implementation. The focus of this role will be to analyze the impact of federal and market policies, financial markets, and product offerings will have on corporate initiatives. This position will also serve to support senior leadership in evaluating strategic growth initiatives and/or M&A opportunities. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work cross-functionally within Nexamp to model out use cases for new and existing products, markets, and technologies to better support growth objectives and recommend future trajectories.
  • Leverage expertise of relevant internal business units and direct their efforts to advance the development of new product offerings; identify where third party expertise will be recommended or required.
  • Analyze opportunities and relevant market incentive programs (in coordination with Policy and Market Intelligence teams), including the evaluation of key risks and upsides; provide regular updates to management team in the form of modeling tools.
  • Facilitate collaboration between business units to establish, test, and validate market and model assumptions. Initiate and drive continuous improvement efforts in ‘best practice’ modeling standards.
  • Build dynamic/complex financial models and calculators to enable rigorous evaluation of business and project development/acquisition opportunities; operationalize results for utilization among internal development teams.
  • Oversee iterative improvements to market or product models; identify and implement opportunities to automate processes.
  • Clearly communicate objectives, methods, and results to business unit leaders and executive team; create accessible tools to ensure optimal internal information sharing and streamlined processes for incorporating real-time market updates and internal feedback.
  • Support with various ad hoc modeling and project requests as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valuation experience – M&A, project finance, cost analysis.
  • Modeling experience – finance background, building from scratch, technology integration.
  • Communication and project management skills.
  • Working with multiple stakeholders – financial, technical, developers, engineers.
  • Ability to create new products/take lead on an initiatives
