Job Summary
 
Regrow is looking for a Senior Global Event Marketing Manager who will drive Regrow’s Global Event Strategy including conference planning, industry roundtables, virtual webinars, speaker programs, podcasts, and community engagement. You must be able to execute efficiently with a high degree of autonomy, and manage a variety of tactics to deliver compelling, high-impact events to engage our global audiences across North and South America, Europe, Australia, and Asia. In addition to industry-led events, Regrow is also looking for you to craft first-party events including customer conferences, and seminars, and create a community surrounding our groundbreaking technology to reverse climate change. 
 
You will work with multiple workstream owners to lead the development and delivery of integrated content, channel, and activation strategy for our marquee events, including the eventual proprietary event in 2024. The right candidate is strategic, with an operational approach, and an understanding of how to connect the dots and implement cross-functional programs effectively. You will need a combination of exceptional communication skills, detailed project management ability, organizational savvy, and an enterprise event marketing background in a complex, emerging industry.





What you will do:

  • Execute on a robust event calendar to support overall goals of elevating brand awareness, driving category creation, building demand for our products, and supporting sales goals
  • Own the execution of small and large-scale virtual and in-person webinars, conferences, trade shows, speaker programs, and events
  • Work closely with sales, product marketing, science, technology, and executive team members to develop the event strategy, staff events appropriately, and deliver a high-quality presence
  • Handle internal and external partners & vendor relationships and grow those relationships through coordinated effort and goal setting
  • Drive all aspects of event and demand management: pre-event planning with sales on key industry contacts, establishing realistic MQL goals with Demand Marketing on each event, helping drive sales to schedule meetings ahead of the event, during the event, and post-event follow up 
  • Execute a thorough post-event strategy with Demand Marketing, Content Marketing, and Sales to drive data-driven decision-making for future events 
  • Manage all communications, logistics, vendor management, speaker and attendee experience, staffing, registration, project timelines, and budget management related to events 
  • Manage multiple, complex event programs successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Support Regrow’s Marketing and speaker programs through the development of content including slide decks and case studies
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on analytics and metrics of success for marketing events for each year to help assess next year’s event investment strategy

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years experience in the event marketing industry primarily focused on the management of teams, implementing large and small events and operations, with a tangible connection to ROI 
  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams while building, carrying out, and scaling event strategy
  • Consistent track record of using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Successful track record in negotiating with venues and event partners on getting Regrow the best 
  • Ability to push individual and team thinking; is continuously interested in and perceptive to industry changes and trends, and most importantly can be comfortable defining our identity in an emerging space
  • Strong B2B virtual and live event experience, with a preference toward experience in the technology industry or similar-sized global customer-facing events (brand or agency side)

  • Growth orientation and a bias toward action in an emerging space 
  • Creative ability to look beyond the standard event playbook and create memorable experiences that can carve out an identity in space for our ICP 
  • A genuine passion for events and can make both the attendees' and internal stakeholder’s experience special and unique 
  • Experience  building the best GTM organization through tools, enablement, industry research, and modern processes 
  • Eye on the big picture growth, not transactional in mindset 
  • Deep commitment to building an ethical, world-class company that can change the world through its technology 
  • Experience in a very fast-paced environment with a high level of ambiguity
