Who we&rsquo;re looking for:
At Headway, we love diving into the unknown, solving the product/business problem through software (not the other way around), and tackling the things others have said can&rsquo;t be done. We&nbsp;all consider ourselves at least a little bit &ldquo;product people,&rdquo; or &ldquo;product-curious,&rdquo; if you will.
Software Engineer (3+ years relevant experience) &ndash; 140k+

Skillset:
<ul>
<li>Proven experience writing simple software that is easily maintainable</li>
<li>Comfort with Java/Scala, Python, or Go</li>
<li>AWS experience</li>
<li>Data engineering experience across batch and streaming needs</li>
<li>Flexible enough to work through infra and &ldquo;that&rsquo;s DevOps&rsquo; job&rdquo; challenges</li>
<li>Adept in digging into data with SQL, Pandas, or whatever tools necessary&nbsp;to quickly&nbsp;debug/examine datasets</li>
<li>A healthy distaste of manual processes</li>
<li>Fearlessness and flexibility when diving into new technologies and languages​</li>
<li>Experience with Apache Spark is a plus</li>
<li>Skill in fitting statistical models and training machine learning algorithms another plus</li>
<li>Positive team-oriented attitude​</li>
<li>Passion for the energy and climate tech industry</li>
</ul>
