Our Accounting/Finance team is seeking a Senior Accountant. This role will report into the Senior Accounting Manager of our Accounting & Finance Team. The role will work on day-to-day GL accounting of the Beyond Meat US entity. The role will include responsibilities over the preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations and income statement flux analyses, managing the fixed asset register, managing payment status for state and local taxes, and other special accounting projects, as needed.


  • Maintains the Fixed Assets ledger and CIP listing by communicating to plant managers from various locations.
  • Prepare entries to record fixed assets and reconcile Fixed Assets register to general ledger.
  • Assist with the identification and improvement of controls and processes.
  • Participate in general ledger accounting, including month end close, prepaids, expense accruals, flux analysis and reporting.
  • Review and prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, research, investigate and resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Provide coaching, development opportunities, and performance feedback to new and existing staff, as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal and external departments to support company goals and objectives.
  • Assist with accounting SOX procedures to ensure company controls are operating effectively.
  • Assist with external audits.
  • Ad hoc responsibilities and reports as needed


  • CPA / CPA candidate preferred.
  • Accounting/Finance Degree required.
  • 3 years or more experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Mix of public and private accounting preferred but not required.
  • Must be proactive and deadline oriented.
  • Experience with Fixed Asset-related accounting preferred
  • Must possess knowledge of GAAP.
  • Collaboration in a team-oriented environment is a crucial component for this role.
  • Familiarity working in a SOX environment preferred.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have advanced Excel skills, with experience in the heavy use of Pivot Tables, Sumifs, and
  • V/H/X Lookups
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Plus - System implementation
  • Plus - Net Suite experience & experience researching GAAP guidance preferred

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD 90,000 and 95,000.  The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.  The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
