Job Description

On behalf of Therma, we're searching for a Customer Accounts Receivable and Billing Support Specialist to be responsible for ensuring ongoing success for Therma’s users by facilitating swift resolution of issues and aiding in solving customer billing questions.

At Therma° they are combating climate change by building the smart cold chain. They're a mission-driven team of experienced entrepreneurs, engineers, and food industry professionals creating IoT-powered technology that ensures safety and sustainability, from farm to fork.

Accounts Receivable: You will partner closely with their accounting, support, and sales team to manage North American customer accounts through their payment platform (Stripe and Shopify). You will set up subscriptions and invoices, run account maintenance, payment collection, and general administrative tasks. You will be utilizing stripe, shopify and other payment processing systems. 

Support: You will communicate with Therma° customers to assist in troubleshooting for our monitoring and future energy product via phone, chat, and email. You will aggregate and analyze customer feedback, and escalate as needed.

This role will report to the Director of Management Operations and is remote flexible.

About You

  • Minimum 3+ years experience in accounts receivable,accounts payable, or billing support in an early-stage technology company 
  • Minimum 1+ years experience in billing and customer support
  • Google Suite/Microsoft Office proficient (Excel, Word), Slack
  • Experience working with Bill.com, Stripe, Shopify, Chargebee / Ordway or a similar billing software platform (implementation experience with Chargebee / Ordware platform would be a plus) and customer support systems like Hubspot and Zendesk
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills specifically in communicating with a customer service angle 
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Prior experience working in energy markets is a plus 

Compensation: 

  • $50-65,000 base salary 
  • 0.05-0.10% equity
