Overview

EcoSystems Systems & IT Manager is responsible for leading all coordination and planning of technology-related activities for the organization.

This person will be an experienced individual proficient in all phases of IT development and network infrastructure process as well as have experience managing hardware allocation for large organizations. They will be responsible for all aspects of IT and especially managing both internal resources as well as external developers and vendors to execute and deploy projects. To be successful in this position, an individual must be a self-driven, proactive person with an entrepreneurial spirit who is unafraid of rolling up their sleeves and doing the work needed to achieve an objective and have a clear commitment to EcoSystems’ mission of climate conservation.

Your position will report to the Vice President of Field Services. This position will be remote-first, however, candidates based in South Florida will be given special consideration.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead large IT Projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.
  • Work with multiple vendor development partners to manage on-going and future systems development projects.
  • Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity, and to make educated recommendations for existing IT infrastructure.
  • Help fully document IT processes, architecture, processes, and strategy.
  • Analyze individual departmental needs by working with key stakeholders to identify and resolve issues in existing and future systems to improve efficiency.
  • Assess vendors and develop testing strategies for all existing and new hardware and software systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues and provide resolution.
  • Provide a device management structure and oversee device distribution and return.
  • Lead Salesforce project management.
  • Running regular checks on network and data security
  • Develop and implement IT policy and best practice guides for the organization.
  • Design training programs and workshops for employees.

What You’ll Need

  • 2 - 5 years working in IT operations.
  • Experience leading and managing large IT projects and deploying IT infrastructures across various systems.
  • Excellent working knowledge of computers, systems, network administration, and data security.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent Project Management skills and the ability to prioritize.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure and operations best practices.
  • Experience in Salesforce development.
  • Experience in Monday.com a plus.
  • Knowledge of Apex and JavaScript coding languages.
  • Experience managing overseas contractors a plus.
