Data Consultant

The CCN Data Consultant is an ideal contract for the professional who is comfortable working towards monthly and quarterly milestones independently. A strong personal interest in addressing climate change is helpful for data context, but previous experience is not necessary. Expected workload is 90-120 hours/month. 

Note: Experience and fluency in Airtable, Wordpress, and Tableau required.

The Data Consultant will be responsible for: 

• You will have ownership of maintaining and expanding our data coverage and enhancing our data management through the process of data gathering, maintenance, analysis, visualizations, and reporting for CCN
  
  
• Oversee data quality control by maintaining and enhancing built processes; screening existing and incoming data
  
  
• Perform and integrate data collection and research
  
  
• Develop and maintain a visual data dashboard for internal reference
  
  
• Drive program development by pulling visualizations, analysis, raw data, and insights for availability on the website, newsletters, and publications
  
  
• Prepare and synthesize data analysis for annual market report
  
  
• Maintain and update website any other software based needs when necessary to meet organizational goals
  
  
• You will participate and heavily contribute to building a new model for data sharing; including incorporating feedback, database design, automation design and implementation, developing governance principles and more.
  
  
• Have the opportunity to offer additional resources for a freelance Research Assistant, managed entirely by this contract.
