Part Time Senior Product Designer (Contract)

About The Role 

We’re looking for a foundational product designer to help our small, growing team deliver on our mission of enabling people around the world to take action in the face of climate change. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in rethinking our product experience from the ground up with a cross functional team. Reporting directly to the CEO & Founder, this will be a part time contract role to start.  

Core Responsibilities: 

• Reimagine what Dashboard Earth can be for our customers and partners in collaboration with our founder and key stakeholders across the organization. 
• Help develop and refine new potential concepts based addressing core customer needs and pain points
• Bring these concepts to life by developing low-fidelity designs and sketches
• Create interactive prototypes to validate potential directions. 
• Participate in user research interviews and help synthesize findings.
• Develop detailed designs once a core concept has been selected. 
• Work with product and engineering during the development phase to bring your designs to life.

Preferred skills and experience:

• At least 5 years working as a product designer in a fast-paced startup environment
• At least 2 years experience designing for a consumer-facing mobile app
• Highly proficient in Figma
• Experience managing designers or design contractors a plus
