At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious goal: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste.

Why do we need to do that? Because more than 1/3 of the food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet, 10% of greenhouse gas emissions come from food waste and loss!

As the world’s largest food waste-fighting app, we connect stores that have unsold, surplus food with consumers who buy and enjoy it. But we’re more than an app: we are a certified B Corporation and our mission is to inspire and empower everyone to take action against food waste, so we’re doing all we can to create educational tools, make our knowledge as accessible as possible, find new business solutions and even change legislation to reduce food waste.

We’re growing fast, with our community of 73+ million users in 17 countries saving more than 200 million meals from going to waste - But there’s still a lot more we want to achieve.

We are looking for an exceptional Technical Talent Acquisition Partner to join our Global team on a contractual basis for 6 months, fully remote options (based in France). This position requires someone to speak French AND English.

Your mission:

You will play an integral part in the scaling of our Technical and Product teams by attracting and securing the best talent, who not only fit the technical requirements but are aligned with Too Good to Go’s values and missions.

Your Role:

Reporting to the Senior Global Talent Partner, you’ll work together to enhance Too Good To Go’s employer profile, hire technically qualified candidates efficiently, and deliver a positive, fair and inclusive candidate experience. 

You will manage the full-cycle recruitment process in collaboration with hiring managers, utilising a variety of hiring sources.

  • Manage interview processes for multiple roles, and appropriately assess the candidates’ qualifications, experience and suitability in line with role requirements and company values.
  • Collaborate on a range of hires in broad domains, from Android, Backend, DevOps, to Product and Data - with modern and popular technologies, some of which are: Java 17, Springboot, Python, React. 
  • Partner with hiring managers to advise on the current market trends and variables which may impact the hiring process.
  • Understand and share assessment methods and best practices for successful talent acquisition and exceptional candidate experience.
  • Manage both proactive and reactive recruitment activities for niche roles, with tools such as Greenhouse (ATS), Linkedin Recruiter, local job boards and more. 
  • Actively building recruitment pipelines via head-hunting methodologies for current positions and future recruitment plans, ensuring where possible we are always one step ahead. 
  • Design and implement bespoke recruitment and advertising strategies, maximising the use of our social media and networks and ensuring a diverse candidate pool
  • Assess candidates’ relevant knowledge, skills, experience and aptitude through screening and interviewing.

Requirements: 

  • Fantastic communication skills, both written and verbal, with full professional proficiency in French AND English. 
  • You are passionate about our mission and are motivated to grow our impact.
  • Solid technical recruiting experience, within an in-house environment with active knowledge of the French tech market. 
  • Experience managing the end-to-end recruitment processes for high-volume and technically challenging hires of all levels.  
  • Proven success with various sourcing methods, including maximising LinkedIn Recruiter and tapping into other creative ways to attain the best talent in a demanding market/climate.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Greenhouse is a strong advantage.
  • Collaborative, yet autonomous work style: You can take ownership of your own workload but understand that being successful requires clear communication and outstanding documentation with your Manager and Hiring Managers. 
  • You put a lot of care into the candidate experience and promote Too Good To Go as a fantastic place to work in everything you do.
