QA Automation Lead

About the role

The QA Automation Lead will play a pivotal role in choosing the right tools for developing&maintaining a QA Automation framework for mobile, web and API testing. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to write test plans, test suites that guarantee the quality of our SaaS platform. Success in this role is demonstrated by translating business requirements that have an impact on our SaaS platform into automated test plans and suites that help speed up development and guarantee the quality of releases prior to deployment to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive and scalable QA Automation framework and roadmap that meet the company needs,

• Lead the research and selection of tools and technologies for the QA Automation framework,

• Lead the development and execution of automated test scripts, test plans, and test cases for web, API and mobile,

• Define and track metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the Automation framework,

• Work closely with the development team to align with the development process,

• Participate in interviews for new hires;

Your profile

• High level of proficiency in testing tools - Selenium, Cypress, Appium, methodologies, and best practices,

• Experience in developing QA Automation framework from scratch,

• Experience with or understanding of X-Ray and Detox will be considered as an advantage,

• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools, and experience in integrating QA processes into the pipeline,

• Experience with OOP languages or scripting languages, as well as software development best practices (i.e. SOLID, Design Patterns),

• Working in a fast-paced, agile startup environment and delivering innovative solutions,

• Fluency in English.
