FAIRMAT has developed an innovative technology of carbon fiber-based composite materials. Our first objective is to stop burying carbon fiber composite and to create a more sustainable future for this advanced material essential to decarbonisation.
We want to help manufacturers to recycle carbon fiber composites, to design more ecologically with a high-performance material, and for consumers to enjoy their favorite products in a more environmentally responsible way.
This position is open as part of Fairmat's development, and we are looking to bring on board new staff to support our ambitions for innovation and global growth.
Your role : Under the supervision of the Head of Material Sales, you will be in charge of selling Fairmat’s materials in the Sporting Goods & Consumer Electronics markets. Following our €34m series A and in preparation of our expansion to the US, you will take part in the development of the business strategy in order to reach 4 million euros of revenues in 2023.
Our team: Fairmat’s Materials Sales team is composed of 6 Fairmatters, reporting to the Material Sales Director. The team’s scope encompasses business analysis, business development, sales ops and customer success. We are looking for polyvalent and motivated people to join our team!
Your missions : 1/ Business Development
- Work with the business analysis and sales ops teams to contact prospects in the identified markets
- Apply the sales process and sign long-term supply agreements (5 to 10 contracts per year)
- Participate in events such as trade shows, conferences, etc. in order to expand your network and create new opportunities
2/ Account Management
- Achieve customer satisfaction with the technical, program and operations teams during the contract period
- Renew contracts at the end of their validity period
- Find new opportunities of upselling & cross-selling with these customers
3/ Up-selling & Cross-selling
- Boost sales thanks to your knowledge of local markets
- Participate in the elaboration of the business development strategy in your area on an annual and a quarterly basis
- Suggest every year additional service offers to your customers
Your profile:- Previous experience in business development- Basic knowledge of materials would be a benefit - Excellent communication skills- Curious and motivated- Experience or interest for industrial field- Fluent in English
Additional Information:- Full-time job (CDI)- Based in Fairmat’s Paris office 9 - Annual salary based on profile- Partial remote working (2 days per week)
