Nanoweb Mask Development Engineer

META is seeking a Nanoweb Mask Development Engineer for our facility in Pleasanton, CA, USA. You will play a key role in the development of next generation processes for the NANOWEB® mask fabrication.

What You'll Do:

As a Nanoweb mask Development Engineer, you will be a member of the Nanoweb mask fabrication and development team. Your role will involve development and optimization of existing and new mask fabrication processes used for manufacturing Nanoweb based products.

Some of the typical responsibilities will include:

• Develop new processes and tools for NANOWEB® mask fabrication using nano-imprinting or related techniques
• Support NANOWEB® production using existing mask fabrication processes
• Own and maintain mask fabrication related materials and tools
• Plan, manage and execute various R&D projects related to the development of different aspects of mask fabrication

Minimum qualifications:

• M.S. degree in Materials Science or Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry
• 3 years of related hands on industrial or laboratory experience
• Experience in independently leading challenging R&D projects 

Preferred qualifications:

• Ph.D. degree in Materials science or Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry
• Experience of leading hands on R&D projects using nanoimprint or related techniques, tools and materials
• Understanding of UV or thermally curable polymeric materials and adhesives (such as PDMS, nano-imprint ink, NOA, SU-8 etc.)
• Familiarity with different nanofabrication tools and clean room protocols
• Strong communication and report writing capability
• Proficient with MS office (Excel, Word. PowerPoint etc.) and any data analysis software
