Product Marketing Manager

META is seeking a Product Marketing Manager based in our Pleasanton, California facility. The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for marketing activities with a focus on marketing communications, brand awareness building for products, technologies and capabilities of META. This role will support new product launches and strategic initiatives across the entire range of Meta’s product roadmap.  

Key Responsibilities:   

• Develop Communications Strategy, plans and activities  

• Develop effective communication messages and channels of execution 
• Prepare integrated communication plans 
• Develop positioning/messaging/value proposition 

• Product branding, brand strategies and guidelines
• Product positioning and messaging
  
• Needs analysis and product requirements development

• Craft Value proposition for specific audiences through the buying process stages
  
• Work with internal creative staff to build impactful content measurement 

• Develop metrics for ROI on Communications and Branding activities 

• Market research and strategic initiatives Implementation 

• Audience research 
• Branding projects execution 

• Manage 3rd party consultants as appropriate

Minimum Requirements: 

• BS in Business Administration  

• 7-10 years of Brand Marketing experience in an Agency environment
• Strong understanding of the Branding and Marketing communication processes
• New Product launch experience

• Successful track record of working with creative agencies and delivering impactful messages
• Successful track record of dealing with third party vendors to achieve business goals
• Demonstrated ability to create strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders 
• Familiarity with marketing technology tools
• Excellent analytical and project management skills

• An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Requirements: 

• MBA   

• 15+ years of Marketing Communications experience in an Agency environment. 
• Strong understanding of Product Launch Process 
• Experience creating new Brands and Brand relaunches. 
• Successful track record of dealing with third party vendors to achieve business goals 
• Demonstrated ability to create strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders 

• Excellent analytical and project management skills 
• An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Managed at least 2 team members; Managed creative teams, Digital Marketing teams 

• Motivated, self-driven professional with a good sense of humour. Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines while working on multiple tasks – often under pressure with shifting priorities.
