We are an impact driven, remote-first, AgTech start up headquartered in Germany and Brazil with the goal to reverse climate change and make tropical agriculture more regenerative, low-carbon and sustainable. We are working with Enhanced Rock Weathering in tropical agriculture, currently with focus on Brazil. We do that to create a liveable planet for future generations and, in specific, to regenerate soils and ecosystems, grow nutritious food, increase food security and sovereignty in the tropics. Our Vision is to remove gigatons (that's billions of tons) of CO2 from the atmosphere in a permanent, scalable and safe way.

Our Mission is to enable farmers in the tropics to replace synthetic fertilisers, pesticides and limestone with (silicate) rock powder from local mines.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DESIRED OUTCOMES
We are open to consider Marketing Manager profiles who are about to step into their first 'Head of' role and we are equally open to candidates who have more experience in heading and leading a Marketing function. 

As Head of Marketing, you will lead and build the marketing team to successfully establish a strong position in the Carbon Removal Market. You will own all marketing activities for Inplanet and ensure we hit relevant marketing goals. You’ll bring a combination of domain expertise, creativity, hands-on mentality and the ability to drive things forward. Furthermore, you will be reporting directly to our CEO and work closely together with other teams across the organisation. You will be building the Inplanet Marketing from zero to hero, with a strong focus on a trustworthy and impactful brand.

  • Develop, drive and execute the overall marketing strategy in accordance with company OKRs
  • Develop a brand and communication strategy 
  • Targeting of our customers through various channels like Social Media (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) and Newsletters
  • Content and copy creation through valuable insights of our customers
  • Optimising and developing our website 
  • Building a team for future growth
  • You are passionate about solving the Climate Change and Carbon Removal Solutions
  • You have min. 4 years experience with marketing across multiple channels
  • You have experience working with a broad variety of marketing tools
  • You are analytical and have a metrics-driven approach to marketing.
  • You are a proven high performer with clear goal setting strategies and achievements.
  • Working experience in AgriTech, Carbon Removal or Impact Start-ups is a plus
  • Finally, you love to take responsibility and have a strong knowledge and interest of current digital marketing trends, strategies and techniques
