Job Description
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our EMEA Legal Department in Spain. You will directly report to the Legal Director located in Munich and be part of a team of 6 people. Main responsibilities:
- Coordinate, analyse, draft and negotiate complex international sales contracts for solar products with our international business customers in both English and Spanish
- Provide advice on technical compliance requirements for the sale of modules and inverters; review and implement the relevant EU legislation, such as WEEE, REACH and RoHS
- Monitoring regional, industry and regulatory developments
- Close cooperation with internal stakeholders, including technical, sales, credit departments and senior management
- Provide business-focused legal advice to all relevant stakeholders in the EMEA region and global management
- Streamline and implement processes for legal reviews, contract generation, compliance issues, guidelines and policies

LANGUAGES
- Fluent in English and Spanish, including legal drafting skills
- Any other language is a plus

Your backpack is filled with
- Qualified practicing lawyer with minimum of 8 years’ professional experience in an international working environment (qualified in Spain or other European jurisdiction)
- Specialized in international commercial sales contracts
- Experience in the solar renewables sector a significant advantage
- Experience working in an international law firm and/or international in-house legal position
- Experience in leading commercial contract negotiation and drafting
