HVAC Senior Technician

Based in Grenoble (France), we are currently establishing our Verkor Innovation Centre (R&D centre and 4.0 pilot line).
In the coming years, we will focus on building the world’s most modern and efficient Gigafactory in Dunkirk (France). With this facility, our ambition is an initial annual production of 16 Gwh of lithium-ion batteries by 2025, thus powering 300,000 electric vehicles annually and creating 1200 direct jobs.

We are on the hunt for a talented and reliable maintenance technician to join our maintenance department.

Responsibilities:

• Commissioning of HVAC installations of the Verkor Innovation Center (air conditioning: pressure, temperature, dew point)
• Set up and regulation of HVAC installations on the R&D laboratory (air conditioning: pressure, temperature, dew point)
• Support for the maintenance development of the R&D laboratory and the VIC: stock of spare parts, planning, training, preventive and corrective maintenance procedures
• Optimize installations, perform HVAC and electrical upgrades
• Operation, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance: AHU, complete hydraulic and aeraulic networks (pumps, de-sludger, pressure holding unit, network balancing...), desiccant dehydrators, fan coils, fan filter units, chilled water production, water treatment...
• To fill in the support documents for the follow-up of the maintenance of the plant 

Expected profile: senior technician

• Experience in :
• Air treatment: temperature, pressure and dew point/hygrometry monitoring and regulation
• Industrial HVAC preventive and corrective maintenance
• Operation of industrial refrigeration


• Knowledge in electricity
• Able to diagnose a problem on a refrigeration unit, advantage if refrigeration specialist
• Organized, autonomous, flexible, team spirit, force of proposal, and enjoy the challenges

Working conditions

• 35H, Daytime schedule, pairing with an engineer
• Flexibility for extra hours and on call-duty (night and weekend)
