Job Description

Based in Grenoble (France), we have recently started operations our Verkor Innovation Centre (R&D centre and 4.0 pilot line).

We now focus on building the world’s most modern and efficient Gigafactory in Dunkirk (France). With this facility, our ambition is an initial annual production of 16 Gwh of lithium-ion batteries by 2025, thus powering 300,000 electric vehicles annually.

We have an exciting opportunity as Innovation Technical Leader in our Product Development Team. In this role, you are responsible for leading the development of the Next generation  Li-ion cell technology.
 
You are embracing the objective of building and structuring Verkor as the most advanced battery manufacturing company in the world.


Responsibilities

  • to specify and design the Li-ion cell technology
  • to report the technical status in the scope of the technology development
  • to ensure the synchronization of each stakeholder within the frame of the Next generation
  • to support the product technology roadmap
  • to ensure a survey of new technology for Li-ion cell

Requirements

  • MSC or PhD in materials science or electrochemistry
  • More than 10 years experience in engineering
  • Experience with Dry-Coating, Polymer Electrolyte and Solid-State technology
  • Experience with Assembly technology
  • Experience in Li-ion cell manufacturing
  • Design to safety analysis, DFMEA, root-cause analysis,
  • APQP, 4M management
