Job Description

Based in Grenoble (France), we are currently establishing our Verkor Innovation Centre (R&D centre and 4.0 pilot line).

In the coming years, we will focus on building the world’s most modern and efficient Gigafactory in Dunkirk (France). With this facility, our ambition is an initial annual production of 16 Gwh of lithium-ion batteries by 2025, thus powering 300,000 electric vehicles annually.

As part of the Supplier Quality Performance team, you’ll be responsible of supplier performance, for a given commodity, all along the product life cycle.
 
You’ll work closely with procurement & technical teams during sourcing phase to select best supply partners.
 
During the project phase, you’ll ensure that Verkor APQP is strictly followed by suppliers and support them in integrating Verkor processes
 
During serial life, you will analyze suppliers’ performance, drive non-conformities analysis & challenge suppliers’ QMS. You’ll perform supplier audits when necessary.
 
Finally, you’ll participate to SQA standard continuous improvement in VERKOR


Responsibilities

  • In charge of a given commodity
  • Accountable for supplier selection during sourcing phase
  • Responsible for supplier PPAP Validation
  • Accountable for supplier quality performance during serial life (including 0km, Warranty & reactivity)

Requirements - Qualifications and skills

  • Material Science / Mechanical / Chemical Engineer
  • 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality Assurance
  • 3 years in Automotive sector
  • Experience in supplier audits (auditor certification is a +)
  • Problem-solving, root cause analysis (8D)
  • Knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS), APQP, PPAP Management
  • Knowledge of VDA 6.3 framework, IATF 16949, ISO9001
  • Entrepreneur is a +
  • Fluent English
  • French professional
