The implementation team has a multidisciplinary scope, we are in part responsible for production, product development, quality, verification and validation, reliability, refurbishment, maintenance and the set-up of our charging stations. Due to the multidisciplinary, we are in contact with external and internal partners.

After five years of frequent interactions with different cities, we now have a better understanding of what kind of charging stations are needed for the public space in urban areas. Therefore we are starting a new development of our next generation charging station. As a Mechanical Product Development Engineer you would be part of our Implementation team and be responsible for future development projects of our charging station. The testing of new features and the introduction of that product into our assembly lines.

Your Responsibilities 🚀
- Support in the development of the next generation charging station
- Validation and verification of the new generation, as well as for the old products
- Certification of existing and new products
- Owning the mass production process for the new product
- Coordination with suppliers and sourcing of new components/ suppliers
- Support and fleet reliability management
Your Profile ✨
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering-oriented field (mechanical engineering, or similar)
- 3 years experience working with Product Development, Design, Manufacturing, and/or Applications Engineering
- Familiarity with manufacturing tools and methods
- Good understanding of mechanical engineering concepts (CAD, understanding of assemblies and mechanics, NPI, production)
- Familiarity with quality inspection tools and methods (ISO 19011 or/and ISO 9001 experience) would be an advantage
- Able to write technical instructions & reports
- A make-it-happen attitude, helping the team to deliver on changing the world from combustion to electric
- Ability to self-organise in an environment of changing priorities; willingness to work on multiple tasks/content switching
- Fluency in English, German language knowledge is a plus
