PUR is seeking a Project Developer to join the projects team.

As a key member of the projects team, you will be supervised by the Projects Manager based in Paris, France.

The successful candidate will be involved in PUR’s new and existing projects in the development, coordination, management and monitoring of ecosystem restoration, agroforestry, regenerative agriculture in livestock systems.

We are looking for a Project Developer to support the Project Manager in the strategic development of Regenerative Agricultural projects (improved grazing practices, silvopastoralism, sustainable livestock management..) and initiatives with different agricultural communities (Spain, Mongolia, Australia ….).


The main responsibilities will be, but not limited to :

  • Project management: Set-up, plan, coordinate, and monitor the implementation of project activities. Build, train and manage local partners. Collect and manage data for internal reporting, control quality of implementation, improve proceedings, and coordinate impact monitoring activities. Update reporting and communication tools and formats. Coordinate carbon certification. Be accountable for the budget & reforecast of the management of the projects.
  • Project development: Develop strategy plans for new and existing projects, aligning with key industry frameworks and/or carbon accounting methodologies. Identify and pursue opportunities to scale projects and collaborate with the relevant departments to activate project scale up and improvement opportunities. Be accountable for regular reporting on progress.
  • Deliverable management : Ensure internal tools are up-to-date. Support the development of communication and marketing content following the Comms & Mktg team’s guidelines.
  • Project monitoring: Be accountable for the adaptation and implementation of the data collection forms to the project's local context where relevant. Coordinate and monitor the implementation of data collection with local partners and local teams, providing training when necessary. Be accountable for the consolidation and the analysis of data projects outputs and report to the Project Manager and the region's Field Data Officer any issue. Support the implementation of the project's impact monitoring strategies.
  • Monitoring, planning and people management : Be responsible for the resource management of the projects (workload, recruitment advice...). Be accountable for the collection of the supplier invoices and the integration in the tool in a timely manner (ERP). Communicate to the finance team if there is any delay. Be accountable for project contract management. Approve supplier invoices on a regular basis.
  • Partnership and representation : Identify, build relationships and supervise local partners (cooperatives, associations, implementing partners). Represent PUR publicly at conferences, in meetings with existing and potential clients, and with beneficiaries in the field when needed.


You have solid project management skills: development and implementation of work plans, financial and technical management of contracts, liaising with relevant stakeholders;

You know the field and challenges on livestock sustainability, you are passionate about sustainability and curious about other type of ecosystems and solutions for biodiversity and climate change mitigation and you want to have a strong impact, this position is for you !

We are looking for a candidate with :

  • Master's degree in sustainable agriculture, Environmental protection, Agriculture, Natural Resource Management, Agronomy, Livestock Management, Rural Development or equivalent.

  • 2 - 4 years experience in project management and consulting on the optimization of agricultural practices.

  • Good technical knowledge of topics related to livestock management, regenerative agriculture and carbon.

  • Attracted by young companies with a "start-up" spirit in strong growth.

  • Dynamic, with a strong commitment to the environment.

  • Open-minded and able to work with all types of projects.

  • Fluent in French and English; Spanish is a strong plus.

  • Open to travels worldwide.
