What the role looks like...
  • You analyze building documentation and evaluate building controls, BMS and HVAC systems
  • You analyze existing control methods and logic for the buildings and improve their performance
  • You develop energy saving concepts and strategies for our customers' HVAC systems, implement them and monitor and analyze their impact
  • You work in a multidisciplinary team from the fields of HVAC, energy, data analysis and software engineering to develop AI-based control algorithms
  • You significantly improve the energy consumption and the CO2 balance of commercial buildings and thus have a positive effect on climate change
Your Profile
  • You have a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a similar field
  • Ideally, you have already gained extensive experience in the planning, execution and/or operation of commercial building management systems (BMS) and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
  • You have experience designing and implementing BMS control logics for HVAC systems
  • You have knowledge of BMS protocols, including BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus and electromechanical building systems
  • You are able to interpret and analyze BMS documentation such as IO summaries, network topologies, circuit diagrams and functional descriptions
  • You have a strong understanding of BMS hardware components, their functions and hierarchy
  • You are able to troubleshoot communication or control issues
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of Python
  • You would like to work in a startup and appreciate taking on responsibility and the hands-on approach
  • You see yourself as part of the team with which you can achieve great things together
  • You want to develop yourself further and learn continuously
  • You speak fluent English (at least C1) and ideally also German (preferably B2 or more)
