Team Lead Finance

The role

As our Team Lead Finance, you will be responsible for all the company’s accounting processes and procedures as well as the management and development of the Finance Team. You work together with the Head of Finance and when required, you will also work across the company’s departments with different colleagues.

Your responsibilities will include:

• The monthly preparatory bookkeeping (pre-accounting, verification and recording of documents), as well as the payment transactions.

• Checking the monthly financial statement and ensuring that this and the annual financial statement are completed on time. 

• Providing auditing assistance and being the designated contact for the tax office, as well as for all finance specific matters within the company.

• Optimizing existing processes and systems and taking responsibility for the internal introduction of DATEV.

What we're looking for

• A completed qualification in accounting or a comparable subject (e.g., tax advisor training).

• Several years of professional experience and financial accounting knowledge, and ideally also first experience in controlling.

• An affinity for numbers and an independent, thorough, and structured way of working.

• Ideally, you also enjoy working with digital and paperless processes.

• Very good knowledge of DATEV applications and ideally also Spendesk.

• Good Excel skills.

• Proficiency in German and English.

• You support the idea to create a better future for everyone by using money as a force for good.

50.000 - 65.000 EUR annual gross
