Cloud Software Test Lead

Volta Trucks, a hypergrowth European Electric Truck Manufacturer, is looking for a Software Test Lead to join our Cloud Development team in the Digital Experience Department. This is a hybrid role split between remote working and our head offices in UK (Reading).

What You Will Do

You will work within the Digital Experience Department reporting to the Principal for Cloud Development. You will deliver testing design and execution for the Volta digital products ecosystem. You will interface with internal and external stakeholders.

• Design automated test cases for software products
• Manage the testing cycle for product releases, identify and manage risks associated with changes
• Collaborate with stakeholders and Domain technical leads – product owners, developers, and others to understand business requirements, acceptance criteria and ensure test plan and strategies are in place
• Plan and implement new quality and test programs by advising on testing methodologies, tools, metrics, dashboards, reports, DoD, and DoR
• Perform root cause analysis of issues to assist in determining the source of problems
• Lead and manage testing review meetings and conduct proactive data analysis on all metrics, including daily / weekly / monthly reports

We Would Like You To Have

• Strong test automation skills & experience in setting up and usage of various types of test automation frameworks involving BDD, Data Driven & other automation frameworks
• Experience overseeing, designing and implementing test strategies/plan for complex systems within an Agile environment
• Experience with microservices API testing – synchronous and asynchronous
• Experience in cloud native software product testing
• Functional testing experience and in-depth experience in System, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity and Automation testing
• Experience in web technologies like WebSockets, webRTC, APIs, MQTT, CoAP, etc.
• Understanding of OWASP and ISAE3402 (SOC2) compliances
