HGV Parts Supervisor

Volta Trucks, a hypergrowth European Electric Truck Manufacturer, is looking for a HGV Parts Supervisor to welcome customers and respond to customer requests on Parts in our Service Centre.

This is a unique opportunity to start with blank sheet of paper and design programmes that truly maximise our special culture of sustainability and innovation.

What you will do:

• Lead the Parts operations of the Volta Trucks Service Centre
• Represent the Brand by developing and maintaining a strong and lasting relationships with customers
• Have a hands-on approach, Take, and supply parts orders for both Workshop and Customers
• Pre-Pick and Pick parts and adhere to goods ordering guidelines
• Reconcile warranty and maintenance contract claims as per process and standard
• Raise invoices and credits for parts supplied, exchanged and or returned.
• Carry-out weekly cycle/stock counts in the Parts Warehouse.
• Ensure stock levels are effectively controlled
• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all department administration and operational data
• Brief the team regarding department objectives and give regular feedback on achievements and mild stones
• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with supplier’s external representatives

We would like you to have:

• Previous experience leading and or managing a Commercial Vehicles Parts department is essential
• Be a confident relationship builder dealing with customers at all levels
• Ability to create a good working atmosphere, enthuse and motivate a team while ensuring that agreed targets are met by the service team
• Need to be process and stats driven
• Demonstrate an entrepreneurial flair to drive the business forward
• Proven ability to deliver high CSI results with a passion for excellent customer service
• Have knowledge of vehicle design, manufacture and legislation would be advantageous
