Office Manager

Volta Trucks, a hypergrowth European Electric Truck Manufacturer, is looking for an Office Manager to join our fast-growing team. This role will be based at our testing facility offices in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.

What you will do:

Reporting into the Workshop Manager, as Office Manager you will create a welcoming and friendly environment, take responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the facility & office as well as supporting the onsite teams with ad-hoc tasks. You will be first point of contact for suppliers, contractors and visitors.

• Welcome visitors to the office and support the onboarding of new staff
• Raise work orders with the site when maintenance is required
• Manage the visitor inbox and log all guests onto the portal and the first point of contact for suppliers, contractors, visitors
• Take an active role in H&S protocols & procedures
• Stock and maintain the various communal areas on site
• Order catering for meetings, taking dietary requirements into account
• Support the onsite team with ad-hoc requests e.g., booking travel and general administration such as managing meeting room bookings and requests to use the offsite facilities
• Liaise with direct manager regularly to discuss issues and solutions to make the office work more efficiently

• Previous office management experience is essential for the role
• Ability to work autonomously and make decisions under pressure
• Proficiency MS Office skills
• Proactive personality, highly organised, flexible, and adaptable
• Experience in handling confidential information (personal or business data)
