About the roleDuring your internship in Business Development, you will participate in the upstream process for the generation of Customers. Your tasks will start with Market Analysis, Leads identification, and creditworthiness evaluation. The final objective is to increase the number of Requests For Proposal received by Energy Vault. You will be working closely with multiple departments including sales, engineering, and technology evaluating customers for our different types of storage. It is appreciated a good understanding of the energy sector or the ability to assimilate and learn new information and business model fast.  What you will do·         Market Analysis for the markets in the EMEA region in which we are not yet participating, including analysis of the current energy environment and storage needs.·         Leads Origination: Research the right target customers for our storage systems in those countries and understand who shall be contacted. ·         Manage the first introduction to the new Leads to verify interest in energy storage·         Find and support responses to RFPs for new projects, working with sponsors and financing agencies. ·         Support the existing team in developing financial models for the new projects What a qualified candidate should possess·         University student in his Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration, Finance or Energy related Major·         Previous Internship experience or project experience in Market Analysis is required·         Interest in energy sector and renewable energy·         Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with ability to perform a financial analysis or a market analysis·         Ability to perform quantitative analysis ·         Professional English proficiency
