About the Role
As a GIS Engineer you will work directly with the CEO and technical team to make critical additions to our GIS database and land assesment tools. You will have the opporunitiy to be a critical contributor to a first-of-its-kind system enabling the energy transition at scale and solve challenging engineering problems in the process.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience building and shipping GIS architecture for production applications
- Demonstrated experience with Google Earth Engine and multitude geographic file transformations
- Demonstrated experience building and interfacing with RESTful APIs over geographic data
Prefered Qualifications
- Demonstrated interest in energy development, land use, mineral exploration or similar topics
- Past experience with government data sources (BLM, EPA, USFS, DOE, NOAA, BOEM, etc.)
- Taste for adventure
