We accomplish this through innovative software and program management solutions that harness millions of distributed energy resources like thermostats, electric vehicles, EV charging equipment, energy storage systems, solar inverters, and water heaters, enabling utilities to support more renewables and rely less on fossil energy.

As EnergyHub evolves from a single solution BYOT DR provider to the leading grid-edge enterprise distributed energy resource management system (DERMS), the company is growing and maturing its marketing organization. EnergyHub seeks a new member of its management team who will lead the marketing team and own the company’s positioning, go-to-market strategy, and sales enablement. The Head of Marketing will own and drive strategy for our B2B/B2B2C focus and will ultimately be accountable for helping to drive client and customer acquisition and engagement metrics. They will be responsible for scaling our marketing operations effectively, organizational planning, lead generation, business insights, and more. The new Head of Marketing will be both revenue and delivery-obsessed, and excel at making sure we are on-track for our revenue goals, removing blockers, understanding key levers, having clear operational plans, executing with excellence, and creating an iterative process.

Responsibilities 

  • Lead ​​marketing strategy and execution for EnergyHub’s brand and product suite. Create programs that drive brand awareness and engagement, increase brand trust, and drive go-to-market efforts, in addition to supporting EnergyHub’s growth and revenue goals. 
  • Build and own EnergyHub’s enterprise vision, positioning, pricing, messaging and help influence the roadmap to support this vision. Collaboratively define sales strategy. Establish a cross-team group of key stakeholders responsible for making this vision come alive.
  • Drive the creation of compelling messaging, positioning, pricing and go-to-market strategies and plans for new product and service offerings.  Establish crisp and consistent product positioning that includes outcome driven messaging.
  • Lead the strategy and design of how Growth/Marketing works cross-functionally: identify the biggest levers, align the broader team behind those goals, and ensure consistent execution.  Lead cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of growth programs in partnership with clients and device partners, including scaled digital programs, targeted performance marketing campaigns, and funnel optimization.
  • Oversee a team of subject matter experts who know the market, client needs, competitive intelligence, and our solutions. Ensure the product marketing team is empowered to use their expertise to own and  drive solution development and evolution for EnergyHub’s product lines, to serve as SMEs for those product lines and to meaningfully contribute to sales collateral and RFPs.
  • Partner with sales executives to identify accounts and develop specific sales strategy to win new deals including deepening senior leadership relationships at target accounts where EnergyHub is focused on selling enterprise DERMS. Design and deliver compelling and consistent content to support the full client life-cycle informed by input from key stakeholders.
  • Oversee omni-channel demand generation efforts (both B2B and B2C)  and support the team to establish KPIs to measure impact on company goals. Oversee team responsible for EnergyHub’s portfolio of marketing channels, including owned (SEO, website, social, email, etc.), paid (digital and content) and earned (events, PR, etc.) with the goal to establish EnergyHub as industry’s most credible grid-edge platform and to enroll as many end-user customers as possible.
  • Manage planning and delivery of EnergyHub’s annual user conference in addition to coordination of industry event strategy and execution.
  • Determine marketing plans, processes, and resources required to reach EnergyHub’s business targets.
  • Ensure the marketing team meets the needs of a rapidly growing organization by cultivating the skills of individuals and implementing a roadmap for team growth.

The salary range for this position is $175,000 - $225,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
