Senior System Validation and Verification Engineer (Israel)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Tigo Senior System Validation and Verification Engineer serves as a key technical member of the cross-functional team with the mission to simply make sure things are working – and working well.

As the System Validation and Verification Engineer, you will have vast knowledge and experience with Photovoltaic (PV) systems installation & commissioning process, WW industry best practices and familiarity with power electronics will be the main skills utilized during the job.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Develop a deep understanding of the PV system, including PV modules, inverters, energy storage systems, and EV chargers

• Work closely with hardware and software engineering teams, and as well as Product Management and CS to draft the testing and qualification procedures for the different products

• Coordinate, manage and execute lab and field testing, to guarantee system and component ability to cope well with real life scenarios
  
  

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE

• BS degree in electrical engineering or similar discipline. MSc is a plus

• Comfortable working with PV systems and in lab in up to 1500Vdc environment

• Self-starter and well organized

• Strong written communication skills

• Team player and ability to get along with others

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAD

• MSc in electrical engineering or related field

• 1-2+ years’ professional hands-on experience with PV inverter, energy storage, or similar hardware product

• 1-2+ years’ professional hands-on experience in a manufacturer’s quality department

• Project/Product Management experience

• Electrician experience/knowledge
