We are looking for someone to take ownership of the OptipermTMOlefins product as it scales to commercial launch. The ideal candidate will have a high degree of ownership, creativity, bias for action, enthusiasm for tech innovations, comfort with ambiguity, quick to learn, technically strong, able to make data-driven decisions quickly, and excels at project management. Not afraid of challenges. Always buttoned up. Manages timeline and budget. Able to upwardly manage, collaborate, and coordinate across a start-up organization as well as with Fortune 500 companies.

what you will be doing
Create, own and drive commercialization strategy of the OptipermTMOlefins Plan and execute product launch.
Use internal information and external insights to help shape the internal financial, commercial, technical and R&D work.
Drive internal work required to deliver the OptipermTMOlefins
Coordinate and determine product decisions.
Effectively outreach to and communicate with customers, technology partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders in the space.
Set the bar for quality and excellence in the product that CMS delivers to customers.
Upward manage, collaborate, and coordinate across a start-up organization as well as with Fortune 500 companies.
Mentor and develop colleagues, supporting CMS’ talent development mission.
Work in a team environment which requires clear communication and listening skills.
Self-management of daily, weekly, and more long-term tasks and goals.
what you need for this position
5-8 years of practical workplace experience.
Experience in scale-up and launch of industrial systems in a B2B environment.
History of pioneering work and/or developing business for a new product in a start-up environment.
Creative and self-motivated, comfortable with non-routine tasks and engineering changes, and working on multiple projects as a member of several teams.
Ability to effectively communicate ideas to all members of the organization, at all levels and from different backgrounds and functions.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (membranes a bonus), Chemistry, Biochemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. MBA a bonus.
