Job Description

EnergyHub empowers utilities and their customers to create a clean, distributed energy future. We help consumers turn their smart thermostats, Electric Vehicles, batteries, and other products into virtual power plants that keep the grid stable and enable higher penetration of solar and wind power.

We are expanding our product team and looking for a curious, proactive, and experienced Senior Product Manager to build great software products that make the electric grid greener and more reliable. As a Senior PM for Electric Vehicles, you will own a customer-facing product for managing the charging of EVs and you will participate in building a utility-facing interface for designing and running EV programs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver a roadmap for your product that prioritizes strategic initiatives for maximum business impact 
  • Own end-to-end feature and experiment delivery, including problem and solution discovery and validation
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and data, to design and deliver solutions that are valuable, usable, and feasible
  • Prioritize product opportunities and guide the team based on user research, data, and business goals
  • Discover and master user needs, translate them into product opportunities, and develop a product vision aligned with business goals
  • Guide engineering and design counterparts’ solutions through deep market insight, the business, and the customer
  • Effectively communicate product status, decisions, and results to various audiences.
  • Build consensus around a product vision by managing stakeholder considerations
  • Participate and drive key areas of the go-to-market strategy for your product
  • Mentor other product managers
  • Play a leadership role on the team by developing frameworks and standards for other product managers to use

Key Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of product management experience 
  • Experience mentoring other Product Managers
  • Experience developing frameworks and processes for other Product Managers
  • Strong level of ownership toward product success
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineers about technical obstacles and potential solutions
  • Proven track record of leading multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Self assured, yet open to diverse perspectives and encourages exploration of new ideas
  • Deep customer perspective and a passion for refining product craft
  • Prioritizes product features with qualitative judgment and quantitative data
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Alignment with company mission

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience working with enterprise SaaS products
  • Experience designing consumer-facing products
  • Background in the energy technology, automotive technology, or IoT space
  • Familiarity with modern software engineering tools and frameworks
  • Familiarity with modern grid management and planning tools and frameworks

The salary range for this position is $145,000-$175,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
