This position works closely with Rewiring America’s CEO and will report to the Chief of Staff on an interim basis until a Head of Network is hired.</p><p>In this newly created position, the Head of Investment is a seasoned manager and team builder with proven ability to raise funds at six- to nine-figure levels from individual donors, family offices, foundations, and/or corporate partners. They are passionate about solving the climate crisis by focusing on the strategies that will make the biggest impact, including a just transition to clean energy and demand-side electrification. </p><p>The Head of Investment is laser focused on designing and executing Rewiring America’s revenue plan, driving successful implementation, and building and inspiring a team to expand the organization’s pipeline of investors in order to resource the next stage of transformational scale. </p><p>Rewiring America has undergone rapid growth in revenue, from a startup operating on several million dollars, we are building a $30 million organization within the next two years. Our ambitious campaign will raise tens of millions of dollars to support Americans in electrifying their homes. Foundations, individual donors, and family offices are currently our largest source of revenue. The Head of Investment will drive a strategy that deepens their support further and also diversifies our model by attracting investment from the private sector, membership income, corporate partnerships, and other revenue streams. The Head of Investment partners closely with the CEO and Director of Investment, other senior leadership, and key advisors to build a genuine community of investors, while identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding their own portfolio.</p><h3>What You’ll Do<br> </h3><p>The inaugural Head of Investment holds key responsibilities that will evolve over time as the team grows and functions are distributed. We anticipate a focus on the following:</p><ul> <li>Develop and implement an ambitious revenue plan in support of Rewiring America’s short- mid-range, and long-range vision and goals.</li> <li>Build and lead the fundraising team to deliver against annual revenue targets.
