Mechanical Engineer, Drivetrain

Duties and responsibilities

• Develop e-drive and drivetrain prototyping and manufacturing technologies including material, the process of machining, heat-treating, electrical insulation, and assembly.

• Implement mechanical, electrical, and thermal design, analysis, assembling, testing.

• Conduct the design of experiments for product design validation and durability testing.

• Develop the assembling and testing procedures with analytical and physical assessments.

• Support benchmarking study of cutting-edge technologies.

• Familiar with the component and assembly of 3-D CAD models, and 2-D manufacturing drawings.

• Collaborate with cross-team engineers and technicians.

• Minimum 25% business travel time required.

 Required Education and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in product design

• B.S.  degree with 2+ years of working experience in relevant industry

• Proficiency in CAD modeling
