Director of FP&A – Solar Landscape

The Director of FP&A is a critical and newly created due to rapid expansion and growth. Director of FP&A must have prior construction or renewable energy experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Budgeting/Forecasting: Manage all aspects of annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting by department and at the corporate level, including staffing, financing costs, etc.
• Cash Management: Own the internal cash position including forecasts of financing inflows and all outflows; conduct regular cash analyses to ensure optimal positioning with capital sources. (This function may be transitioned to a Treasurer in the future, possibly as a direct report of the Director, FP&A.)
• Management Reporting: Develop and maintain KPIs for senior management and department heads to monitor all aspects of business performance.
• Project-Level Reporting: Support project-level financial reporting for budget against actuals, cash forecasting and reporting to financing partners; support generation of reporting and documentation required to release funds from financing partners
• Ad Hoc Reporting: Support the CFO, Accounting and Investments teams with various financial reporting as needed, e.g., analysis of insurance coverage and costs, trend analyses, etc.
