Finance Business Partner - Marketing, IT & Central Functions

Volta Trucks, a hypergrowth European Electric Truck Manufacturer, is looking for a Finance Business Partner – Marketing, IT & Central Functions to join our Finance department. The role is flexible and can be based anywhere in the UK, but will involve travel to London/Reading 1-2 times per month. 

This is a unique opportunity to join an ambitious scale-up where you will have the opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of exciting and innovative EV products within the commercial vehicle sector.

What you will do:

Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will strategically partner with several business-critical functions including Marketing, HR, IT and other support functions and provide accurate planning, concise reporting and analysis to enable clear decision making aligned to the business strategy.

• Business partner to senior leadership & C-Suite level stakeholders including CCO, CFO, CTIO & CHRO along with other support functions including strategy and finance
• Produce meaningful month end reporting for all key stakeholders, showing performance over time as vs budget and forecast
• Provide valuable analysis and insight into the business functions supported and translate operational and performance data that supports key decision making
• Support the FP&A team in the production of accurate budgets and rolling forecasts aligned to business strategy
• Continually asses processes and controls within the functions supported and aim to streamline & automate as much as possible

We would like you to have:

• Accounting qualifications – CIMA, ACCA, ACA
• Sound business partnering experience supporting senior stakeholders
• Previous experience supporting/partnering IT, HR, Marketing is desirable
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
