- Your mission at Climeworks is to develop and manage best-in-class test facility operations, reliability, and upgrades.
- You ensure the required availability for all existing DAC Test Facilities.
- You create and own processes catering for improved workflows and collaborations and KPIs for test facility availability tracking.
- You also create and own on-call duty guidelines with close collaboration with HR allowing the best possible support for critical test campaigns and you contribute towards test facility and infrastructure upgrades.
- You take ownership of cost center upon approved budget and for the calibration of all critical measurement systems on the test facilities and ensure that all test facilities are maintained correctly.
- You are the first in line for troubleshooting with the team and create and maintain the corresponding alerting, reporting, documentation, and procedures.
- You build-up / hire team as required to fulfil company & program goals and you motivate and drive efficient collaboration within the team and the department.
- You ensure continuous development and training of employees and manage the HR planning, recruiting, pay and holidays.
- You practice a safety-first culture and ensure that all regulations are followed according to norms, and you conduct training, auditing, and follow-ups in case of findings.
- You completed a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- You have at least 5 years in plant commissioning and/or operation in the process engineering industry.
- You gathered at least 2 years experience in functional management responsibility or project management.
- You gained experience in production planning or similar, with process engineering, software, automation controls and with the operation and maintenance in process engineering industry.
- You also have knowledge of the technical rigor of measurements and the results, thereof including data quality and reliability.
- You lead and successfully conclude initiatives to improve the operations field within an R&D environment.
- You are business fluent in English, German highly advantageous.
- You are willing to travel up to a maximum of 20%.
