Warehouse Operator, Oxford. (1.30pm-10pm Mon-Thurs / 12.30pm-7pm Fri)

The Role
Due to our continued growth and increased production capabilities, we are looking for Warehouse Operatives to support the Warehouse Manager, by receiving goods, and storing and documenting materials.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Organising the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods, and products to distribute within the business
- Fulfilment of Bills of Materials for production
- Stock control of finished goods, consumables, and materials
- Packing and preparing delivery of goods to customers
- Providing components from stock for all departments
- Ensure that inventories are accurate and control inventory levels by ensuring physical counts are conducted and reconciled
- Liaise with other departments to ensure that all orders are tracked and updated with estimated delivery times
- Maintain the stores in a neat and tidy fashion
- Updating our ERP system of stock received against purchase orders
- Compliance with all company policies, in particular, our quality, health and safety, and environmental policies
- Any other duties as required.
Skills and experience required:
- Previous proven experience working within a mechanical/electrical production assembly environment
- Familiar with using MS Excel, MS Outlook, and preferably a stock management system.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), good collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively with teams
- Results-orientated and good attention to detail
- Good understanding and appreciation for health and safety to ensure a safe working environment for you, your colleagues, and visitors at all times
- A strong team player, self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
- Experience in using Microsoft Navigation Dynamics ERP system
- Full driving license
- Experience in operating forklift vehicles.
