Group Product Manager, Partner Connectivity

The role

You will lead the team of product managers in our Partner Connectivity product area. Your team’s mission will be to increase the number of drivers who can benefit from our programs, get more hardware connected to our platform, improve the quality of those connections, and enhance the experience for our hardware partners. Your portfolio will include integrations with vehicles and chargers, and our B2B products for installers, fleets, multi-unit-dwellings, and hardware partners. In this role, you will be coordinating 15+ engineers and designers, and working closely with commercial leadership in our global GTM Partnerships team. As a leader on ev.energy’s Product team you will also play a key role in building the culture and ways of working for this fast-growing function. 

What will you do? 

• Hire, mentor and line-manage a diverse team of PMs
• Own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for our Partner Connectivity portfolio
• This includes integrations with vehicles and chargers, and our B2B products for installers, fleets, multi-unit-dwellings, and hardware partners
• Collaborate with commercial leadership and the leaders of other product areas to establish a shared vision for Partner Connectivity, and drive it to execution
• Work closely with design, engineering and analytics identify and drive initiatives to grow addressable drivers, connected drivers, quality of service, and partner NPS
• Own relationships with key commercial stakeholders (Head of Home Charging, Head of OEMs) on behalf of the Product team
• Foster outcome oriented decision-making for your team; define metrics, set empowering goals, and create rituals to monitor performance
• Oversee the evolution of the organization structure and ways of working for our growing Partner Connectivity group, and broader Product function

What are we looking for?

• Extensive experience in product management, building roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives, and empowering consistent outcomes
• Experience with IoT or EVs is required
• A strong track record of hiring, leading and coaching a team of product managers, including Senior Product Managers
• You have worked with senior leaders and managed expectations senior partners from several different disciplines and diverse backgrounds
• Demonstrated commercial and business awareness - you’ll be able to articulate the purpose of your team’s work in the eyes of the customer and the wider business
• You know how to build products that scale
• Experience running large cross-functional projects
• Experience with complex B2B or B2B2C products
• Domain knowledge of the energy system and a passion for solving climate change
