Job Description

Who You’ll Work For:

Makersite is an award-winning AI software company that empowers manufacturers to manage product sustainability, cost, and compliance, simultaneously from a web browser. Our mission is to help procurement, product design, and experts make better decisions to create safer, more sustainable products through data-driven analysis. We firmly believe that technology can help corporations to have a more positive impact on their environment. That is why we developed a platform that uses cutting-edge technology, big data, and breakthrough algorithms to deliver product intelligence, unlike anything on the market. Our customers frequently tell us, ‘We’re too good to be true’!

How we help our customers:

For manufacturing companies with complex supply chains that want to accelerate product development, build resilience or reduce costs, Makersite is a disruptive digital twin platform that uses AI to connect and enrich cross-departmental data into live models for analysis, collaboration, and decision support. Digital twins can be used to understand how external factors like environmental and health regulations, supply shortages, etc. affect a business and help teams evaluate scenarios considering multiple criteria like costs, environment, compliance, etc. simultaneously.

Who We’re Looking For:

Our team of subject matter experts has already made significant strides on content. We now need a driven individual who can think, show, and build differently. If you're looking for a dynamic, exciting, and flexible place to grow, be bold and join Makersite.

As our new Content and Campaigns Strategist, you will be an integral part of our scale-up journey. Your role will involve differentiating and amplifying Makersite in all markets, positioning us as an authoritative, inspiring, and influential voice in the world of product sustainability and supply chain decision-making. Supporting our go-to-market teams with the content and collateral they need to build Makersite's credibility.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and implement an impactful content strategy, including blog, white papers, social media, webinars, to support brand strategy and business growth objectives.
  • Research and produce thought-leadership content across a range of media.
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content on social media that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
  • Comprehend and convey dense, complex subject matter and have the capability to identify and deliver upon several narratives.
  • Oversee all aspects of daily implementation, including planning, production, and distribution across all channels.
  • Set editorial standards and ensure a consistent approach and quality for all content, including blogs and case studies.
  • Build a network of expert contributors – both internal and external – for blog content, film interviews, and research reports.
  • Research and apply the latest best practices in content marketing.
  • Ensure all editorial content aligns with the Makersite brand narrative and reflects our tone of voice in a way that resonates with our audience.
  • Use performance data and insights to improve online content.
  • Build compelling business cases for new content initiatives and campaigns.
  • Manage and develop content partners and agencies.

The Right Person Would Have:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in content management and creation.
  • Demonstratable experience or education in sustainability, product engineering or ESG is preferable.
  • A research-based approach to creating informative, credible, and compelling content.
  • Proven editorial experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating content strategy, production, and distribution for global audiences.
  • Strong writing skills and visual storytelling abilities.
  • Experience in leading a small team.
  • The ability to apply customer understanding to business and creative problems.
  • Experience in analyzing research results and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with tight deadlines.
  • A high degree of personal responsibility and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team and working environment.

What You Can Expect from Us:

  • Belonging - Be part of the sustainability megatrend
  • Development – a steep learning curve, both personally and professionally
  • Pride - Do amazing work with an international, vibrant, and passionate top-class team.
  • Passion - International customers that love what we do and share our vision.
  • Remote Working - Work 100% remotely if you like.
  • Values-driven culture - we're really proud of our culture.
  • Time-Off - 30 days of paid time off per year.
  • Technology – State-of-the-art equipment.
  • Competitive salary
