Job Description


YASA is looking for an Assistant Marketing Manager to help manage the day-to-day implementation of our marketing strategies and initiatives, in support of our relationship with Mercedes-Benz as well as our other customers across Automotive and Marine sectors. You will be reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, ideally with some experience in a marketing or communications role. The right candidate will have excellent project management skills and have the ability to help create and execute successful marketing and communications activity in support of our brand goals.

  • Executing planned marketing activities to increase brand awareness and advocacy within defined target B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Collaborating with Mercedes-Benz and other Automotive brands, to ensure alignment of marketing goals with overall business objectives.
  • Managing the creation and distribution of marketing materials, such as website and social media content, email newsletters, local advertising, and merchandising
  • Analysing and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data and analytics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and strategic partners to enhance brand reputation and reach.
  • Stay up to date on EV industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our marketing efforts remain innovative, effective and are maximising opportunities
  • Managing budget and marketing plans.

To succeed in this role, we believe you'll need:

  • A degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Previous industry experience working in a marketing-orientated position.
  • A proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills, using data and metrics to make informed decisions.
  • Some knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques, including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and email marketing.
  • Experience with marketing platforms, such as MailChimp, GA or Social Media management is a plus.

Though not expected, it would be very beneficial if you have:

  • Worked in an automotive of technology environment marketing to these sectors.
