PUR is recruiting for Project Developer Manager based in Indonesia, and looking for a business mindset, autonomous, impact-driven individual, a team player, and dynamic to coordinate and implement agroforestry and land restoration projects.
As a key member of Asia, you will report to the Country Manager in Indonesia and will be responsible for designing, developing, and expanding, project activities in Indonesia, under the functional and technical guidance of the Feasibility Assessment team based in Paris.
Your missions will be to support the development, of ecosystem restoration, agroforestry, and regenerative agriculture initiatives or with agricultural communities on behalf of PUR’s new and existing clients; for the purpose of restoring ecosystem services and supporting sustainable livelihoods such as, but not limited to:
Work closely with the Program and Business Development team to identify and assess potential new commodities and potential customers for PUR in Indonesia
Analyse market trends and competition in the country to identify opportunities for future expansion.
Assist the Business Development team with the generation of cost and capacity proposals, providing input and advice relating to operational strategy; supporting client interactions and long-term strategic partnerships
Take ownership of managing multiple expansions simultaneously, from defining the scope and planning up to the implementation of the studies, ensuring that each study life-cycle is completed successfully.
Ensure the successful handover of the new project to the Project Implementation team, once the project design has been fully finalised and the project is ready to be launched.
Be the guarantor of the feasibility assessment process in Indonesia, being accountable for the correct execution of the methodology (defined by the Feasibility Assessment team in Paris HQ) and for the qualitative delivery of all studies carried over in the country.
Perform as a technical expert in feasibility studies in Indonesia and provide strategic input to Business Development Operations to support the scaling up of Indonesia operations.
Work closely with the Project Implementation team to develop and execute strategies to expand the current project areas and deliver a wider impact on the environment and the people.
Support innovation: Developing expertise in Agriculture, Forestry or International Development projects.
Project monitoring: Together with the Project Implementation team and the Project Data team, monitor the implemented projects’ outputs in order to draw lessons and adapt feasibility & project expansion methodologies if necessary.
External representation and communication: Act as the projects and partnerships focal point; represent PUR and support the development of marketing and communication.

We are looking for a candidate with:
5 years experience in sustainable agriculture and community project implementation.
Experience in data collection, including conducting quantitative and qualitative data collection, supply chain mapping, business development, and community engagement.
Graduated with an MSc in Natural Resource Management, Agronomy, Forestry, Agroforestry, Rural Development or equivalent experience.
Knowledge and/or experience with key commodities produced in Indonesia (coffee, cocoa, rubber, palm oil, mangroves).
Knowledge about regenerative agriculture and Good Agricultural Practices is a plus.
Experience in agriculture sectors/smallholder farmers is a plus.
Knowledge or experience in handling carbon certification for afforestation/reforestation projects is an asset.
Must be fluent in English and Bahasa.
A permit / legal right to work in Indonesia is mandatory
