Position
Draft storyboards and scripts for e-learning and other online courses – these will cover a broad range of topics from (internal) compliance and onboarding to basic skills to subject matter content for external audiences.
Develop e-learning materials for courses based on information provided by subject matter experts and instructors, creating effective and interactive online courses.
Program e-learning courses suitable for self-learning.
Recommend and implement changes to existing e-learning courses to make these more effective, including technology or instructional methods.
Revise e-learning courses based on the updated materials from the subject matter experts and instructors.
Remain aware of all emerging instructional methods and technologies; and make recommendations about when to adopt certain systems to continue to offer the best learning experience possible.
Upload and configure e-learning content into learning management systems (both within Systemiq and with external partners).
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university (educational background is preferable but not a must).
Minimum 3 years’ experience in related position as instructional designer and e-learning developer.
Passion for teaching and education and about creating a great virtual, asynchronous learning experience.
Strong understanding of Instructional Design models, strategies, and learning principles and able to apply them to support in e-learning content development processes.
Ability to design and produce e-learning assets in a self-standing way.
Proficiency in at least one of the e-learning course authoring tools to produce interactive courses, such as Articulate Storyline, iSpring or Adobe Captivate.
Visual design skills for graphics and/or videos are a plus, e.g. Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, Camtasia or Adobe Premier)
Experience in working with Learning Management Systems and uploading/modifying e-learning content, using SCORM-format.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Good written and spoken command of English.
Willingness to work virtually with an international team.
