Where in the world of Kaluza will I be working?
You’ll be working on Kaluza’s Flex platform. Designed to be the nervous system connecting energy retailers, grid operators, and consumers, Flex will aid us in creating the distributed, consumer-centric, dynamic energy system of the future. Bridging the gap between distributed renewable generation and smart devices, it helps consumers shift their energy consumption to times when there's more renewable energy. This not only saves them money, but enables society as a whole to meet the challenge of decarbonising transport and residential heating/cooling. We’re directly driving the energy transition by building the innovative technology behind unique, market-leading customer propositions like Vehicle to Grid and Charge Anytime Energy Plan with our energy retailer partners.
You’ll be joining the Kaluza Product community. We’re a group of Product Managers and Leaders focused on translating complex needs into simple and innovative solutions that solve real customer and business problems.
What will I be doing?
As a Product Manager for our Japan team, you will take charge of building products and capabilities that enable Japanese Energy Service Providers (ESPs) and vehicle manufacturers (also known as “Auto OEMs”) to build, bring to market and scale some of the very first smart charging propositions for electric vehicle drivers in Japan. Your team will work closely with internal Kaluza teams as well as external software engineering teams to configure Kaluza’s core capabilities in the flexibility space and bring value to our Japanese ESP clients and Auto OEM partners as well as their end consumers, while also addressing their unique operational needs. Additionally, along with our Client Success and Partnerships team, you will foster strong relationships with key client and partner stakeholders and ensure that insights acquired through these engagements are effectively disseminated among your team and other Flex teams, so that we can ensure continuing success for the platform.
