Your role and your team:

Lilium is seeking an open, enthusiastic learner ready to develop skills and combine knowledge acquired in the classroom with real-world experience. With focus on process improvement and documentation, the Process Excellence Intern will gather and document all project success and setback data and report outcomes to management with recommendation for future improvement.

Your Day to Day:

  • Learn about the way how an innovative aerospace company operates and is organised.
  • Assess our processes for consistency and quality, suggest and implement improvements to the entire process landscape to improve the efficiency of the entire engineering department.
  • Implement a metric deck for the process landscape, reporting and an improving it over time, with the aim of highlighting completeness and removing inefficiencies.

Your Profile:

  • University matriculated students (master’s or bachelor’s degree) in engineering, or business management.
  • Strong interest in continuous improvement processes, methods, tools (e.g. Lean, Design and Systems thinking).
  • Have a proactive, pragmatic, and analytical mindset, as well as strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Student consulting experience advantageous.
  • Good written English skills, particularly in British English. Advantageous if you have knowledge of Simplified Technical English standards.
  • Fluent English.
