The International Biochar Initiative (IBI) is a growing non-profit organization seeking support to help IBI achieve our mission through strategic and highly impactful education programs that will inform new audiences, as well as grow the global biochar workforce and industry.
A globally distributed, remote-first, small team, we are a mission-driven, creative and dynamic group of people working in the briskly growing area of climate change solutions. This position will bridge strategy and implementation, developing the strategy and implementation for IBI’s educational activities and products. The Education Manager reports to the IBI Executive Director, coordinates with the Development Manager, Communications Lead, and liaises with IBI Board of Directors.
Job Type: Full-time employee
Location: Remote. Flexible, with preference for candidates in or overlapping some business hours within Latin / North American or African / European time zones. Candidates must be authorized to work in the country in which they live. IBI is not able to provide sponsorship for work permits or visas.
Remuneration: For the US or Europe $75,000 - $90,000 + benefits, including a professional development stipend each year. For other regions, salary will be determined by local rates based on experience and education.
