What you’ll do
- Work with various ML and Data Engineers to understand our product and business data and the underlying processes.
- Identifies meaningful insights from large data sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analyses and experiments to product, service, and business stakeholders.
- Designs, develops, tests, and implements business impactful solutions through data analysis, machine learning and visualization.
- Maintain and develop BI data pipelines (ELT-workflows).
- Support development of intelligent automation and data heavy products
- Contribute to overall data architecture and process flows.
- Translate business needs to technical specifications.
- Develop and update technical documentation.
- Own your work package, develop an end to end solution and deliver a final presentation to the BuildingMinds Leadership
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- You are a Bachelor, Master or MBA student in the field of Computer Science, Data science, Engineering, or any other similar field.
- Good knowledge of modern programming languages, such as Python, Scala or Java
- Good knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL is a plus)
- Initial experience or Knowledge of the Big Data ecosystem, e.g. Spark, Airflow, Kafka, Flink and others
- Experience in handling structured and unstructured data, such as text, image, sensor and machine data.
- Hands on experience in Tableau, Power BI, or any other reporting tool
- You are passionate about sustainability and revolutionizing the Real Estate industry pushing for a better future
- Experience and interest in data science, machine learning and AI based solutions.
- You bring a proactive way of thinking, you are organized and possess strong time management skills
- Meticulous attention to details and overall product
- Passion for not just fulfilling an assignment, but in adding value, pushing the boundaries and creating amazing work.
- You possess a thirst for knowledge and growth in a start-up environment a passion for sustainability topics
- A place of residence in Germany (Berlin) is required for this position
- You are available for at least 6 months
- You are available to work at least 20 hours per week (preferably 40 hr/week)
- You Are ok about coming to the office 3 times a week
